Artist's
statement:
The
exhibition deals with issues of spirituality in the flesh and the relation
of the body to text, specifically with regard to discourse and the Holy
Scriptures. Her work explores alternative inscriptions of selected
metaphors of the Word into the flesh in order to revision ancient
religious symbolism with contemporary relevance.
