Pieter (JP) Roux                                                                       

Pieter is an artist from the Cape who used to live and work in Pretoria and Johannesburg. The small exhibition of work deals with the theme of figure fables based on real-life experiences. The moneybag/potion bag is used as a symbol, containing either poison or lavender and rosemary. The works are mixed-media works utilising found objects, monoprints and painting.
