Shelf life is an exhibition by Nathani Lüneburg, Rossouw van der Walt and Marili de Weerdt that includes new media, sculpture and painting. This exhibition looks at the physical and emotional effects of the passing of time within a society that values transience over substance.

Nathani Lüneburg is a video artist and is completing her MA Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria in August 2006. She has been selected as a top ten finalist in 2004 and won a merit award in 2006 at the Absa L’Atelier Art Awards. Rossouw van der Walt is a sculptor whose work has been selected for a number of art awards such as PPC Annual Young Sculptors Awards where he was awarded for technical excellence in 2001 and in 2002 he was awarded for the Best Sculpture On The Exhibition. He has also participated in the ABSA L’Atelier Art Awards in 2003 and 2004. Marili de Weerdt works in a variety of mediums. She has completed a BA Fine Arts Degree at the University of Pretoria in 2003.  She participated in the PPC Young Sculptors Award Exhibition in both 2002 and 2005, where she received the Merit Award in 2002.
