In particular, artists and musicians will benefit from the course. The following will be covered: · Facets of successful speech delivery – theory and practice, such as structure, gestures, presence, rapport with the audience and the use of notes; Impromptu speeches; Prepared speeches; Interviewing skills; Persuasive techniques; Use of aids – such as white boards and power point; Content specific speeches – designed for individual needs, such as for artists who wish to discuss and explain their work or conduct walkabouts; Confidence boosting. · Practice in preparation, content and delivery each class.
